Position Overview:
With the Dog Daycare Attendant position, you will be responsible for the care, management, and safety of dogs who have passed a behavior assessment during the overnight shift. This role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment, managing feeding schedules, and ensuring the well-being of dogs in our care within a cage-free, 24-hour facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Facility Maintenance and Cleanliness:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of all playrooms and surrounding areas, including outside spaces, hallways, lobby, kennels, grooming room, and feeding areas.
  • Perform routine deep cleaning of all areas, removing dog waste, mopping floors, and ensuring a hygienic environment at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness of mop buckets, changing them regularly to avoid contamination, and assist with additional cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and feeding equipment.

2. Dog Care and Feeding:

  • Prepare meals for dogs in the playgroup according to the daily care report.
  • Feed all dogs in the playgroup following the specified schedule and dietary instructions.
  • Document feeding progress in daily email reports and maintain accurate records in Infusionsoft.
  • Assist with bathing dogs as needed to ensure they are clean and comfortable.

3. Playroom and Dog Safety Management:

  • Supervise dogs in the playroom, ensuring safe and appropriate interaction while minimizing stress levels and ensuring that all pets are well-cared for.
  • Monitor and manage dog behavior, using appropriate techniques and tools to maintain a peaceful and safe play environment.
  • Respond promptly to any incidents or behavioral concerns, ensuring all dogs are safe and well-supervised.

4. Customer Interaction and Communication:

  • Greet clients upon arrival, assist with the check-in and check-out process, and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Communicate effectively with fellow employees regarding day-to-day tasks, feeding schedules, and any issues or updates related to the pets in our care.
  • Respond to client inquiries and ensure exceptional customer service at all times.
