SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is to perform janitorial service as a bus cleaner for Sun Metro buses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Perform janitorial service as a bus cleaner for Sun Metro buses.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.• Ability to mobilize (walk and stand) at least 6 hours per day is required.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. To clean all interior windows of buses
2. Pick up any trash surrounding the isles of buses
3. Sweep and mop buses
4. Regular use of cleaning chemicals
5. Clean dash boards and railings
6. Fully clean all the seats of the buses
7. Perform these and other duties assigned in an effective, efficient and safe manner
8. Ability to work with chemicals used for cleaning purposes.
9. Responsible for maintaining adequate supplies an d equipment in working order.
10. Demonstrates good work habits, maintaining a good attitude.
11. Ensures all safety rules are adhered to.
12. Maintains a high level of confidentiality regarding Goodwill Industries of El Paso, Inc. and persons receiving services.
13. Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the building property
14. Responsible for maintaining the required company uniform and ensuring a professional appearance, and attitude at all times.
15. Assists in other areas as requested.
1. Knowledge of proper utilisation of janitorial equipment.
2. Ability to relate fact-based observations verbally and in writing.
3. Ability to work non-regular hours (6:00 PM - 2:30 AM)
4. Reliable transportation.
5. Ability to work in outdoor weather.
6. Other requirements may be developed without notice as found to be necessary to perform this job.
