Job description

SUN-MAID PLANT JOB DESCRIPTION
DEPARTMENT: RAISIN RECEIVING JOB TITLE: FORKLIFT OPERATOR
JOB CODE: 051
JOB SUMMARY: Must be able to drive the forklift in a safe and efficient manner. Must follow instructions of supervisor and crew leader.
PRODUCTION STANDARDS:
• Load and unload bin from trucks.
• Stage all bins with scale tag together.
• Stack bins four high and put in staging area.
• Properly check and maintain fluid levels of forklift.
• Move bins with the least amount of damage.
• Keep records as needed.
• Report any problems with lift truck to supervisor.
• Properly fill out Drivers Daily Forklift Checklist.
• Other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work in all weather conditions. Possible objects falling or bins shifting and falling. Possible airborne materials getting into eyes. Safety glasses are required.
