Job Description: Within the Americas IT department, Business Technology Services is looking for a IT business analyst with Summit knowledge, in the Fixed Income IT team. This is a Front to Back-office position within the business analyst group of Client IT department. He/She/They is managing several evolutions or project aiming at:

  • Deploying new instruments
  • Implementing and improving PnL, Hedge and market data processes
  • Implementing and improving settlement, confirmation and clearing workflows
  • Implementing regulatory reporting and maintaining quality of the data
  • Remediating the quality of data
  • Identify and collect irregularities in business operations procedures and propose changes and new methodologies

He/She/They also supports Fixed Income, Treasury and Credit activities as well as back-office stakeholders by addressing functional issues/questions. Position requires great knowledge of PnL, hedge, Market data setup and feed and a full transversal overview of the trade workflow from input until settlement. He/She/They centralizes the user requests; coordinates with New York and Paris Head Office Business Analysts and IT teams; liaises with support functions to ensure all impacts are properly identified.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: For all that relates to Fixed Income, Treasury and Credit business:

  • IT Business Functional support / maintenance: Responsible for quick resolution of day-to-day issues on Summit (booking, pricing, market data, straight through processing, settlement, reporting, accounting…)
  • Monitor the trade workflow and make sure statements and regulatory reporting are accurately produced.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in business analysis functions in the Finance industry
  • Deep knowledge on Summit, must be familiar with products traded on Fixed Income, Treasury and Credit business.
  • Must be familiar with Summit STP services for Front Office and Back office as cashflows, accounting, operations and settlements workflows.
  • Deep IT knowledge, the successful candidate must be able to review source code, write and execute SQL queries (Sybase, Oracle and SQL Server) and read/understand a script (Windows and Unix as Bash, Perl, Python)
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, with strong attention to detail and ability to provide solutions to problems.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment on multiple applications.
