A little about this position:
  • Mammoth Bike Repair Shops are committed to personalized service and technical expertise.
  • Diagnose, maintain, build and repair all current models of mountain, ebikes, kid’s and town bikes for guests and our large rental operation.
  • Building & maintaining our rental fleet and adherence to our service standards in order to ensure an amazing and safe rental experience forms the primary function.
  • In addition the Bicycle Mechanic provides excellent service and help with our customers bike maintenance needs to get them back on the hill.
  • To support this function applicant must be able to operate and reconcile a POS and appropriately charge for services provided.

Requirements:
  • High School GED or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years in bike repair shop
  • Minimum 1 year of cash handling
  • Will assist manager/supervisor with daily duties and implementing strategies; assists with fitting and sizing guests bikes when needed
  • Able to manage assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
  • An ability to work in a team oriented environment with an upbeat, enthusiastic personality
  • Operate in a high energy environment & able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Extensive knowledge of bike maintenance and problem solving abilities
  • Great attention to detail and accurate recording of services provided
  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends
  • ‘Everybody Shovels’. Other duties will include shoveling snow from trails, covering lunch breaks at kid’s activities etc. Assisting other departments for whatever is needed in numerous aspects of our summer/winter operation.

Hourly pay rate: $21.47 to $25.00
