Position Summary:
Work in one of the various departments in Arctic Slope Native Association or Samuel Simmonds Memorial Hospital depending on the area of the intern's field of study or interest for the purpose of gaining on-the-job experience and acquiring skills.
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years old (unless graduated from high school).
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a UA.
• Enrolled in or admitted to postsecondary education institution or other postsecondary trade school required.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Work ethically and professionally; treat people courteously and respectfully.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
