Hiring Range
$12.80 - $16.63/HourlyActual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
Overview
Organize, teach, and oversee all tennis related activities to include, group Classes, private lessons, new member lessons, camps, leagues (creating schedules for five leagues monthly), tennis tournaments outdoors during the summer months, USTA liaison for hosting leagues, and preparing the court schedule sheets for indoor and outdoor courts.
Prepare the outdoor courts to include, winterizing/ un-winterizing (26 valves) for hydro court watering system for clay courts, Clay replacement (periodically), Bulb replacements, daily dragging of steel brush and rolling when needed, daily debris removal of leaves, pine needles, trash, and weeds.
Indoor Court maintenance to include, daily sweeping, trash removal, going through ball hoppers, baskets, and ball machine to replace worn balls,
and ball machine maintenance.
Ordering of supplies to include, tennis balls, nets, sweepers, and all things relating to racquet sports.
What you will do
  • Teaches tennis lesson following USPTA guidelines, so that lessons meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintains indoor tennis courts, outdoor tennis courts so that their condition meets players expectations.
  • Meets tennis lesson revenue goal.

Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
  • Bachelors Degree, Health Education (Preferred)

Experience
  • 1 year Tennis Instructor (Required)
  • Less than 1 year Racquet Ball experience (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications
  • Certified Auto External Defibrillator (AED) - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
  • First Aid - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required)
  • Certified Tennis Coach - Professional Tennis Registry Upon Hire(Required)
