Schedule: Part-Time, Monday–Thursday (~20 hours/week, typically 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM with flexibility. Plus summer/full-time transition options)
Salary: Salary: $20 – $30/hour (Final hourly pay rate will be based on nanny qualifications, experience, level of education, and responsibilities)
Description:
About the Family:
We are a busy, active, and outdoorsy family of five (with three kids ages 13, 12, and 10, plus our family dogs). We love skiing, swimming, gymnastics, tennis, horseback riding, and spending time at our farm near Cokato. We value education, independence, and getting outside as much as possible! Because both parents work full-time and travel occasionally, our nanny is truly an extension of our parenting team.
The Role: What You'll Do:
  • After-School Care & Coordination: Safely transport kids to/from their active schedule (sports, arts, and play commitments).
  • Academic & Emotional Support: Oversee homework, monitor school communications, encourage reading and math, and expertly navigate the beautiful (and sometimes moody!) pre-teen years with empathy and humor.
  • Household Management & Meals:
    • Plan and prep 4 family meals a week (mix of healthy homemade meals and easy grab-and-go options)
    • Manage family laundry and keep common areas tidy.
    • Run errands and handle grocery shopping.
  • Pre-Arrival Flexibility: Start times often range between 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to knock out prep, errands, or dog care before the kids arrive.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: Professional background in nannying, childcare, or household management, specifically with pre-teens/teens.
  • Requirements: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Vibe: Energetic, adaptable, proactive, and outdoorsy. You love being part of a dynamic family and can roll with changing schedules.
Perks & Flexibility:
  • Competitive Pay: $26–$30/hour based on experience.
  • Mileage Paid: Reimbursed at the national mileage rate.
  • Schedule Options: Potential for earlier starts/earlier finishes, plus summer hours (full-time, ~45 hours/week) if desired!
