Job Summary: The purpose of the Pharmacy Student Intern is to promote the safe and effective use of medications by working collaboratively with the pharmacy team, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, in performing a variety of clerical, technical, and professional support tasks. This role may also contribute to educational efforts, formulary and quality improvement activities, and medication management-related projects that support the goals of the pharmacy department. Along with other members of the Pharmacy team, this role is responsible for providing pharmacy services that meet the high standards of patient care provided by JHACH.
  • 3-year Pharmacy Student Internship Program (spring 2026 through spring 2029)
  • 10-week summer internship experience [5/2026 - 7/2026]
  • Student hourly/base pay: $16.27
  • General work hours during summer internship experience: 0730-1600 weekdays
  • Service commitment: every other weekend required (16 hours minimum) with per diem shifts available
  • Pharmacist Intern license from the State of Florida prior to the first day of the internship is required
  • Students will need to be local

Qualifications:
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Relevant Experience, Pharmacy experience preferred
  • Florida Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist Intern License required

Salary Range: Minimum 16.27/hour - Maximum 16.27/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
