About the Role
As a College Summer Help - Production Worker at Zekelman Industries in Wheatland, PA, you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations and maintaining efficient production workflows. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, has a strong work ethic, and is eager to gain real-world experience in a light industrial or manufacturing setting.

What You'll Do

  • Operates hand and power tools to support production activities

  • Handles materials to ensure smooth production flow

  • Operates packing and banding equipment to prepare materials for shipment

  • Completes other duties as assigned by management

Who You Are

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college, university, trade, or technical school

  • 1+ years of industrial experience preferred, but not required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Demonstrates proven mechanical aptitude (e.g., carpentry, construction, automotive, farm equipment)

  • Possesses strong attention to detail, dependability, and professionalism

  • Capable of working shift schedules as required

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

  • Successfully completes post-offer drug screen, physical, and background check

  • Maintains regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per posted schedule

Physical Abilities

  • Must regularly lift and/or carry 50+ pounds

  • Must be able to walk or stand at least 95% of shift
