The New Jersey Jackals are a professional baseball team dedicated to delivering an exciting and memorable experience both on and off the field. With a strong commitment to community engagement and family-friendly entertainment, the Jackals strive to create a fun, high-energy ballpark atmosphere while growing the game of baseball throughout the region. We are seeking enthusiastic, driven, and creative interns to join our organization and gain hands-on experience in the sports industry.
Position Title: General Front Office Operations Intern
Reports To: Department Manager (Marketing, Ticket Sales, Merchandise, Business Operations, or Community Relations - based on assignment)
Position Summary:
This internship provides hands-on experience in the daily operations of a professional baseball organization. Interns will assist with marketing and ticket sales initiatives, game-day operations, community outreach, merchandise, and general front office activities. This role is ideal for students who are passionate about baseball, sports management, and delivering an exceptional fan experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of community events, promotions, and game-day activities at the ballpark
  • Support marketing and promotional campaigns, including social media content, in-game entertainment, and street team activations
  • Help coordinate community outreach programs, youth baseball clinics, and local appearances
  • Contribute to ticket sales efforts, group outings, and sponsorship activations during games and events
  • Maintain accurate records and provide administrative support to front office staff
  • Deliver excellent customer service to fans, sponsors, and community partners throughout the season

Qualifications:
  • Current student in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Passion for baseball and the sports industry
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and all home games
