Job description

AMDA College of the Performing Arts is seeking dependable and motivated students to join the Stage Production team for the Summer 2026semester.
Stage Production Student Workers are an integral part of supporting performances and production activities across campus. Student Workers gain hands-on technical theatre experience while assisting staff in mounting and running performance opportunities.Shifts for this position are primarily evenings and weekends.
Position Overview
The Stage Production Student Worker supports technical and front-of-house operations for campus performances and events. This role reports to the Stage Production leadership team and requires strong teamwork, organization, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with operating lighting boards and sound boards
Support backstage crew duties during rehearsals and performances
Assist with box office operations, ushering, and front-of-house responsibilities
Help prepare performance spaces and equipment as directed by staff
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Currently enrolled AMDA student for the Summer 2026 semester (employment in this department is open to 2nd-8th semester students)
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Ability to work well as part of a team
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong customer service skills
Attention to detail and responsiveness to staff direction
Willingness to work evenings and weekends

Student employees are paid minimum wage in accordance with applicable state and local law
Work schedules may include evenings and weekends
Student Worker positions are hired on a semester-to-semester basis and continued employment is not guaranteed beyond the current term
