Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group of Florida, is seeking a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our nationally recognized neonatology team-ranked #25 in the neonatology specialty by U.S. News & World Report. Be part of a collaborative, high-performing group serving Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, consistently named one of the Best Children's Hospitals in the country.

  • Joe DiMaggio NICU has 62 Level-IV NICU beds and 22 Level-II beds; average daily census of 70 and over 5,000 annual births, the largest NICU in Broward County
  • System-wide the two sister NICUs have 36 Level-III beds and an additional 8,000 annual births
  • Robust high-risk perinatal navigation program
  • Full complement of pediatric subspecialists
  • Care of full range of complex neonatal diagnoses
  • On site ECMO, therapeutic hypothermia, BPD programs, full range of ventilation modes including HFOV, HFJV, NAVA
  • Variety of shifts including 10-12 hour day shifts and 12-16 hour night shifts
  • Rotations to Memorial West and Memorial Miramar with 24 hour shifts
