They often provide services in schools, camps, clinics, or private practice settings to help children and adults maintain or improve their communication skills over the summer break. These specialists may offer individualized or group therapy sessions, work on language development, articulation, fluency, and social communication, and collaborate with families or educators to support clients' progress.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a summer speech language pathologist?

To thrive as a Summer Speech Language Pathologist, you need a master's degree in speech-language pathology, state licensure, and strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills.
