Job Title: Seasonal Part-time Sales Associate

Must be available to work weekends, peak tournament dates, and select holidays during the summer season.

As a Rawlings Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of products including gloves, bats, training equipment, and apparel. This role is responsible for a variety of duties that contribute to creating an engaging and attractive experience for customers. An excellent Sales Associate is energetic, outgoing, and possesses strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will quickly acquire a thorough knowledge of Rawlings products and confidently share that knowledge with customers with enthusiasm and professionalism.


We are excited to bring the Rawlings retail experience to LakePoint Sports, one of the premier youth sports destinations in the country. This seasonal location will support thousands of athletes, families, and teams visiting the facility throughout the summer tournament season. This position is anticipated to run from late August2026 through November 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Uses different selling techniques and presentation methods to assist customers with product selection.
  • Stays current on products and understands product pricing structures, styles, colors, product history, and features.
  • Provides accurate information regarding product specifications and recommendations.
  • Drives profitable growth and achieves individual and store sales goals.
  • Monitors and maintains merchandise displays and shelves
  • Assists with receiving, stocking, and inventory organization.
  • Operates cash register and processes transactions accurately
  • Delivers exceptional customer service to athletes, coaches, parents, and visitors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Three (3) months of experience working in customer service, sales, retail, or related fields preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Professional, positive, and outgoing personality.
  • Passion for baseball, softball, or youth sports preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Strong teamwork mentality and willingness to support store operations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, peak tournament dates, and high-volume event periods.

Working Conditions:

General retail environment located within a high-traffic youth sports and entertainment venue. Position requires standing for extended periods, lifting merchandise as needed, and interacting with a high volume of customers during tournament and event weekends.
