Risk Analytics Summer Scholar

• This Summer Scholar leverages data management and analytics to solve business challenges and mitigate risk across a variety of domains. Applies advanced analytical techniques to collect, process, and analyze data, uncovering actionable insights that drive innovation, regulatory compliance, and informed decision-making for clients. Demonstrates curiosity and a passion for extracting value from data.

Deloitte's Government & Public Services practice serves government agencies, higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and other public sector organizations. Teams work across strategy, operations, technology, and transformation efforts to help clients improve mission outcomes and organizational performance. Qualifications

Required:

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer 2028 pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting Analytics, Applied Math Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related/equivalent program
• Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
• You must reside within a commutable distance (e.g. 100-mile radius) of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.

Preferred:

• Cumulative grade point average of 3.4 or higher
• Internship, project, or coursework experience in accounting, analytics, applied mathematics, business, computer science, data science, finance, information systems, or statistics.
