Schedule: Sunday, 11:00 AM – 11:55 AM

Ages: 5-8

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Future Scientists Instructor to lead a week-long STEM enrichment program for youth. The instructor will engage students through hands-on experiments, interactive demonstrations, and inquiry-based learning activities designed to spark curiosity and foster a love of science.

The ideal candidate is passionate about science education and can create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to explore, question, and discover.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead age-appropriate science lessons, experiments, and STEM activities.
  • Introduce students to a variety of scientific disciplines, including biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, and environmental science.
  • Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Supervise students throughout the program and ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain classroom materials, equipment, and experiment supplies.
  • Adapt instruction to meet the needs and interests of diverse learners.
  • Encourage teamwork, creativity, and scientific inquiry.
