Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client.

The Work

The Subject Matter Expert I provides expert advice and recommendations for programs, contracts, and/or topics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides subject matter expertise for specific contracts and programs.
  • Attends meetings and provides input associated with  area of expertise.
  • Participates in writing/formulating documents and evaluations/recommendations.
  • Serves as an interagency liaison in area of expertise.
  • May serve as a lead instructor for any classes associated with  area of expertise.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications – Here’s What You Need

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) degree, Master of Arts or Science (MA/MS) degree preferred in an associated discipline or equivalent experience.
  • At least ten (10) years of progressively advancing career experience.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in area of expertise
  • Instructor experience preferred
  • Secret Clearnce is required.
  • Due to the nature of work at the client’s site, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Working Conditions
