About Us:
GEO Next Generation Academy-Indianapolis is a free K-12+ public charter school. We are building a team of excellence. We are one of the few Indiana schools offering an early college program, which allows our qualifying high school students to take real college courses for real college credit, free of charge to our students and their families. Our curriculum and our teaching methods are designed using Core Knowledge in K-8, Project Lead the Way beginning in middle school, and a blended learning model in middle school through high school. Our teachers cultivate in our students the critical thinking skills they will need to understand how the world around them works and to become leaders and agents of positive change in the world.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: A Student Tutor is required to perform the following duties:
  • Motivate and support students in reaching high levels of academic success
  • Maintain high behavioral expectations for all students
  • Perform targeted individual assistance and small group tutoring
  • Maintain frequent communication with students and their support network regarding academic progress
  • Communicate and collaborate with teachers and school administrators
  • Participate in staff development opportunities
  • Ensure the security of computer equipment and accessories
  • Uphold all school policies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Commitment to the mission and organizational goals of GEO Academies
  • Be a current High School Student at GEO Next Generation Academy-Indianapolis
  • Carry a consistent 3.0 Grade Point Average
