Department: Congregational Life

Reports to: Children's Pastor


Start Date: Jul 13, 2026

End Date: August 30, 2026

Duration: 8 weeks

Hours: 40 hours/week

Wage: $20/hour

Status: Full Time

Schedule: Sundays, weekdays, evenings and overnight camps as required


Position Overview:


The NextGen Program Staff leader will assist with planning, organizing and executing all NextGen events, camps and Sunday programming. This role will create healthy engaging experiences for children both in our church and community to grow in their faith, develop social skills and have a place to belong.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Assist with Sunday morning programming and Friday Youth
  • Help with curriculum preparation and development
  • Teach lessons and lead activities
  • Provide administrative support
  • Lead large and small group Sunday teaching time
  • Support all NextGen summer events
  • Maintain an atmosphere for developing good morale and healthy mentorship
  • Help to lead at Jr. Youth Premix (Overnight), Jr. Youth Camp (Overnight), Sr. Youth Remix (Overnight), and Sr. Youth Camp (Overnight)
  • Childcare
  • Other duties as assigned by Children's Pastor



Qualifications:


  • Deep and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Servant heart and teachable
  • Experience working with children
  • Minimum 18 years old and competed high school
  • Strong leadership, administrative, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • First Aid/CPR Training Preferred
  • Available for all scheduled programs and overnight events (Premix, Remix, Camps):
    • PREMIX: July 19-22, 2026
    • Senior Youth Camp: July 30-August 3, 2026
    • Junior Youth Camp: August 8-14, 2026
