SUMMARY: The 21st Century Site Coordinator is responsible for managing daily operations at our after school and summer program at a single school site, including lesson planning and delivery, gathering supplies, managing attendance and behavior, and communicating with staff, students, and families. This is a full-time, 37.5 hour-per-week position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned.
Plan daily lessons for the program using provided curricula: Museum of Science Engineering
Adventures, iRead, and CATCH Kids Club. Lead staff in delivery of these lessons.
Gather and organize supplies for hands-on, project-based learning.Process student registrations and manage daily attendance.
Develop and adhere to daily schedule for the program.
Develop and adhere to positive behavior support system for the program based on school-day system.
Develop and adhere to discipline policy for the program based on school-day system.
Develop system for regular communication with school-day teachers.
Develop system for regular communication with families.
Plan and lead monthly family nights.
Work in collaboration with community-based agency partners
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises students.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree.
Experience in managing after school/ summer programming or youth development programming for elementary students.
