Job description

O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company located in Torrington, CT, seeks eager and ready to learn interns for the summer of 2027.

Each summer, O&G welcomes a select group of college students into our Summer Experience Program an immersive internship designed to develop future construction leaders through meaningful, hands-on work.

This is not a shadowing program. Interns are integrated into active operations and contribute to real business objectives across multiple divisions. From day one, you will be expected to think critically, communicate professionally, and take ownership of your work.

We are especially interested in students who are motivated to build their careers in Connecticut and contribute to the long-term growth of our communities and our state's infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in civil or mechanical engineering, construction management, accounting, business, or occupational health and safety
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm for learning
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proficient with technology and willing to learn new software applications
