Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Job Summary
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR Team in delivering day-to-day HR operations across both a corporate office and manufacturing plant environment. This role provides hands-on experience in multiple HR functional areas including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, training, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, and highly organized.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the HR Managers with daily human resources operations across corporate and plant locations
  • Support recruitment efforts, including posting positions, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting onboarding activities
  • Maintain and update employee records and personnel files to ensure compliance with company and legal requirements
  • Assist with compliance tasks related to company policies, employment law, and manufacturing safety requirements
  • Participate in HR projects such as engagement initiatives and process improvements
  • Gain exposure to HR practices unique to a manufacturing plant environment, including hourly workforce support
Qualifications
  • Interest in pursuing a career as an HR Generalist or HR professional
  • Ability to travel reliably to Winston-Salem, NC and work on-site Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
