Job description

Develop, manage and supervise the Warm Springs research program located in Warm Springs, Oregon. It is one of 4 programs within the fisheries department. The Warm Springs Program comprises research and monitoring project evaluating adult and juvenile spring Chinook, fall Chinook, summer steelhead and Bull Trout located within the boundaries of the Warm Springs Reservation. Program supervisor will help in developing contract budgets and statements of work and work with state and federal agencies. The program supervisor will be responsible for the oversight and operations of 6-9 staff. The program supervisor reports to the fisheries department manager.
Requirements
Master of Science degree in fisheries, wildlife biology, or other closely related field and five years of experience in managing resources. Or, a Bachelor of Science and seven years of professional experience related to this position. Alternatively, a minimum of ten years of experience of increasing responsibility in a natural resources field. Two years of supervisory experience and budget administration required.
