Monarch Manufacturing, Inc.s Shipping Departments Shipping Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that inbound and outbound shipments are correct and all associated paperwork is recorded in addition to leading and motivating the Shipping Departments Packagers and Drivers.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage a team of Packagers and Drivers.


RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES:


  • Use the shipping schedule and item tracking software to plan the day.

  • Approve outbound shipments and account for all items.

  • Account for any items that are missing or did not ship.

  • Maintain inventory of packaging materials and order as needed.

  • Receive inbound shipments, look for errors or damage to products, and deliver to departments.

  • Stage products for delivery.

  • Assist with the proper loading of delivery trucks and trailers.

  • Prepare items for UPS or SpeeDee shipments.

  • Communicate with the Production Coordinator on the status of shipments.

  • Communicate with dealers about expected shipments, delays, backorder items, etc.

  • Ensure that all shipping and receiving paperwork is prepared, filled out, and stored correctly.

  • Ensure that all delivery paperwork is prepared and maintain records.

  • Dedication to keeping a clean and well-stocked working environment.

  • Cross-train in other areas during department downtime.

  • Complete other duties as assigned.

  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness, consistency, and thoroughness of the work assigned.

JOB LOCATION:

Sullivan, Illinois.


PAY SCALE:

$22.00 to $25.00 an hour.


WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. (40 hours a week).
Mandatory overtime is determined on a day-to-day basis.
