Job description

Step into a dynamic school-based environment near Denham Springs and Baton Rouge, LA, supporting student success across two welcoming campuses—Midcity (K-5) and Materra (K-11). This contract position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact by collaborating with both elementary and high school students, families, and staff.

In this engaging, full-time role, you'll split your time between the two campuses, providing psychological services and participating in roughly 50 evaluations across grade levels. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for supporting diverse learners, strong assessment skills, and the flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of each school community.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license in Louisiana, or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings, especially split campuses or multiple age groups
  • Demonstrated proficiency with psycho-educational assessments, report writing, and consulting with multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfort managing a caseload of 50+ evaluations and supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
