Weekly Working Hours: 40
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm w/no weekends, 7 paid holidays and no on-call
The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic provides pre and post-operative evaluation and care for pediatric and adult reconstructive surgery related to body injuries and conditions, burns, pressure ulcer and wound closure, cleft lip and palate, facial and jaw injuries, hand injuries, head and neck tumors, breast and skin cancer as well as tissue transfer/transplant. The clinic also cares for patients who have undergone transgender health surgeries such as vaginoplasty, phalloplasty, mastoplasty, and mastectomies. This is not an elective cosmetic surgery practice. The new grad RN supports the adult and pediatric facial surgery and neuro cranial patients and team, primarily. This role requires assisting patients and providers with in-clinic visits, addressing wounds, drains, sutures, chart reviews, and pending orders. The RN also addresses patient calls and mychart messages, using critical thinking and prioritization skills to triage patient needs.

  • ADN required; BSN preferred; must matriculate into BSN program per nursing guidelines
  • RN license required at time of hire

Salary Range: Minimum 36.07/hour - Maximum 54.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
