Job description

Seasonal Operations team members are responsible for creating the best experience possible for our guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about the Ark Encounter and serving others, enthusiastic, energetic, an excellent multi-tasker, and able and willing to fill or change positions quickly. This position should display our Core Values of SERVE when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God honoring fashion.
REQUIREMENTS:
All Ark Encounter employees must be able to move and stand for long periods of time, meet lifting requirements (25-75 pounds), perform duties in varied weather conditions (e.g., extreme heat/cold, rain), are subject to a background check, confirm agreement with the Answers in Genesis' Statement of Faith, and adhere to our drug-free workplace policy.

JOB TITLE: Seasonal - Culinary Services
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide excellent service to all guests by creating an exceptional dining experience.
  • Prepare, cook and present food in accordance with recipe and safety standards.
  • Assist guests with food purchases in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, wash and sanitize dishes.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Customer service skills: friendly and courteous with guests
  • Attention to details: eyes on food standards, costs, safety.
  • Basic Math skills: Accuracy in cash and financial transactions with guests
  • Wear proper slip-resistant footwear, aprons, hats/hair nets and personal protective equipment when operating sharp and hot equipment.
JOB TITLE: Seasonal - Housekeeping
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure the day-to-day cleanliness of the attractions and grounds.
  • Remove and dispose of trash/recyclables and clean bins.
  • Clean floors, windows, doors, walls and restrooms.
  • Perform responsibilities with a safety-first mindset.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Customer service skills: friendly and courteous with guests
  • Attention to details: eyes on guests' service standards, costs, and safety.
  • Organizational skills: rotation of date sensitive inventory and cleaning
