Job description

The Team
The Recruiting team handles both lateral and campus recruitment and plays a crucial role in growing and evolving the organization. They are responsible for a full lifecycle approach to bringing on new talent to the firm, from interns and entry-level graduates to experienced professionals.
Your Role
AQR is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join the Recruiting Team. In this position you will:
  • Coordinate high-volume interview scheduling across teams, ensuring a seamless candidate and interviewer experience
  • Manage candidate communications including scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups
  • Build and maintain interview schedules; manage real-time changes and candidate flow during in-person superdays
  • Greet candidates onsite and provide day-of support to ensure smooth execution
  • Plan and execute logistics for campus recruiting events, including on-campus presentations and superdays
  • Manage end-to-end event operations, such as venue coordination, catering, event materials, and day-of execution
  • Support summer internship program logistics and events
  • Arrange travel and hotel accommodations for candidates
  • Manage candidate reimbursements, recruiting vendor payments, and contract submission through Coupa expense system
  • Maintain accurate candidate data in ATS (Greenhouse), including resumes, applicant information, schedules, and feedback
  • Deliver a high-touch, professional experience to internal and external clients ensuring a positive impression of AQR
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with internal stakeholders (hiring managers, Recruiters, Business Partners) and external partners (recruiting agencies, vendors) throughout the process
  • Assist in adhoc HR projects to help ensure seamless execution, as needed

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, recruiting operations, executive support, or a similar administrative role; financial services experience preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, adaptability, and initiative, with the ability to independently manage priorities and drive tasks to completion
  • Professional presence with strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience coordinating complex schedules and logistics across multiple teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies; Greenhouse experience is a plus

This is the range that we in good faith believe is accurate for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, depending upon factors such as skills, experience, location, or other business and organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
