This is an amazing Accounting Clerk opportunity with a client based in Purchase, NY.

  • Summer internship opportunity is 40 hours per week (9-5) and the client will offer this internship during the semester as well, with flexible hours!

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Accounts Payable – input invoices into QuickBooks, route to project managers for review/approval, make any changes in QuickBooks as needed, assist in generation and mailing of checks
  • Generate and maintain Accounts Payable report for senior management
  • Journal Entries – make adjustments to Coastal Tile & Vespa Stone QuickBooks as needed
  • Assist in monthly New York State Sales Tax filing
  • Provide additional support to Accounting Team as needed, including filing, making copies, answering phones
  • Depending on the candidate’s availability, additional duties may be added over time.
