Job DescriptionOverview

AtkinsRealis is seeking an Architectural Intern - Summer 2027 to join our Denver, CO office.

Your Role
  • Support architectural project work across schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
  • Assist with presentation graphics, reports, design exhibits, and other materials for client and internal team reviews.
  • Use Revit and AutoCAD to incorporate redline markups and support updates to architectural drawings under the direction of experienced staff.
  • Participate in occasional site visits to observe, document, and assess existing facility conditions for project development.
  • Research building products, materials, and technical information to support design decisions and project documentation.
  • Assist with construction administration tasks, including submittal reviews, project filing, document organization, and coordination support.
About You
  • EXPERIENCE:
    • No prior professional experience is required; relevant coursework and design studio experience are expected.
  • EDUCATION:
    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, or other architecture degree from an accredited college or university, with at least 60 credit hours completed by the start of the Summer 2027 internship.
  • SPECIAL SKILLS:
    • Basic proficiency with Revit or AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
    • Familiarity with Bluebeam and software used to create architectural presentation graphics.
