Responsibilities
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for infants
  • Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you
  • Ensure a safe and clean learning space
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
  • Support children's individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth

Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passion for nurturing and educating young children
  • Work experience in a licensed childcare facility as a teacher.
  • Experience in early childhood education and preschool settings preferred
  • 12 core unit classes with a grade of C or better are required. ( child development, child-family-community, curriculum)
  • 3 units in Infant/Toddler are required.
  • Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality.
  • Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency (Title 22) including immunization, health screening,finger-printing and background check
  • Must be able to lift up 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergencies.
