Job description

Summary

Draft technicians are responsible for the install, repair, and maintenance of our on and off premise draft accounts. They also set up temporary draft systems for special events, i.e. beer and music festivals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot and service all draft accounts in a timely manner as directed by manager
  • Provide bids to retail accounts for services including billing and collection for maintenance
  • Assist, prepare and participate in all special events
  • Bidding, billing and collection for service work and deliveries
  • Assist sales teams with troubleshooting, servicing existing accounts, repair and maintenance
  • Point of sales and merchandising
  • Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you come into contact with through your job
  • Occasional tasting of product may be required

Key Competencies

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective organizational and time management skills

Work Environment

This job operates in our accounts, mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work.

Physical Demands

  • Lift/Carry 50 lbs. repetitively and up to 100 lbs
  • Push/pull up to 100 lbs
  • Bend/stoop/crouch/squat/use arms/wrists/hands/grasp

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, days/hours of work vary, and may include weekends.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Minimum six (6) months merchandising experience

Draft experience preferred

Compensation

  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
  • Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees are also eligible for 80 hours of vacation every year and 7-8 days of paid holidays throughout the calendar year (depending on location).
  • Hired applicant may be eligible for incentives/ bonuses/ annual bonuses.
