Job Description

Utilize remote sensing/geospatial technologies, approaches and methodologies to provide support for natural resource applications including basic image interpretation, photographic interpretation and analysis, routine data processing and management, map plot composition and production, and documentation, including report assembly and distribution.

Qualifications

The minimum requirements for this position include all of the following:                                  Demonstrated ability to process, analyze, and model in geospatial software (e.g., ERDAS Imagine and Esri ArcGIS Pro). Demonstrated basic understanding of computer programming concepts and application of these principles to batch scripting, data analysis, and visualization. Familiarity with the application of programming techniques to geospatial analysis. Demonstrated ability to learn new geospatial software, such as Metashape, eCognition, Google Earth Engine, ENVI, and Fusion.  Experience in earth sciences and knowledge of airborne/satellite imagery.
