About This Role

Summer Camp Staff are responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children enrolled in the summer program. Staff will lead activities, supervise play, and support children’s social, emotional, and physical development while ensuring all licensing and safety standards are met.


Seasonal position (Summer months)

Full-time and part-time hours available

Can possibly run into working the fall school year


What You'll Do

Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being

Plan and lead age-appropriate activities (arts & crafts, games, outdoor play, water play, etc.)

Assist with daily routines including meals, snacks, rest time, and transitions

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom or activity space

Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members

Encourage positive behavior and model appropriate social skills

Follow all daycare policies, procedures, and state licensing regulations

Assist with field trips and special summer events

Communicate effectively with lead teachers and administration


Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and actively engage with children for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (if working with younger children)
  • Comfortable participating in outdoor activities

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old

Experience working with children preferred (babysitting, camp, daycare, etc.)

High school diploma or currently enrolled (or equivalent)

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to pass background check
