Job Description Data & Analytics Fellowship Program Location: San Antonio, TX (4 days onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Fellowship Program Compensation: Approximately $100,000 - $130,000 (based on experience) Target Audience: Recently Separated Military Veterans About the Opportunity Our client is seeking motivated military veterans to join a Data & Analytics Fellowship Program designed to develop future leaders in data-driven decision-making. This unique rotational program provides exposure across the full data lifecycle, including data governance, data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, and reporting. Participants will gain hands-on experience delivering impactful business solutions while receiving structured training, mentoring, and professional development to support long-term career growth within data and analytics.

Key Responsibilities Support data governance initiatives to improve data quality, integrity, and compliance. Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data integration processes. Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.

Develop reporting and dashboard solutions using modern business intelligence tools. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis and visualization. Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics solutions.

Apply best practices in data management, reporting, and data visualization. Participate in rotational assignments across multiple data and analytics disciplines. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and data quality.

Adhere to organizational risk management, compliance, and governance standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Military veteran with an honorable discharge.

Minimum 4 years of military experience supporting: Data Analytics Information Management Data Engineering Intelligence Analysis Reporting and Business Intelligence Software Development supporting data solutions Experience working with data reporting, analytics, or database technologies. Understanding of data management principles and practices. Experience utilizing tools such as SQL, Tableau, Business Objects, Snowflake, Hadoop, NoSQL databases, or similar technologies.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of SQL development experience. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Experience using Python or R for data analysis and automation.

Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security frameworks. Experience creating executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions.
