Technology Data Analyst & Data Manager Intern (Federal Work-Study) Company Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary mission is to protect data integrity and design highly functional business workflows within OTD. Duties include:

  • Database Management & Integrity: Audit and manage database structures tracking university intellectual property (innovations) and agreements to ensure complete data integrity from initial contact through project completion.
  • Workflow Optimization & SOPs: Analyze current data processes, discover bottlenecks, design improved data management workflows, and write professional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Training Material Creation: Develop structured documentation, job aids, and training decks to explain new data-entry procedures and system workflows.
  • Peer & Staff Education: Conduct informative training sessions for fellow interns, researchers, and office staff to ensure seamless adoption of updated data systems.
  • Operational Data Analysis: Compile monthly status reports on IP pipelines, outreach metrics, and licensing lead statuses to present to OTD leadership.
