Program Overview:

Our formal 10-week internship programs provide students with the opportunity to work on critical projects integral to our team's success. Interns work alongside some of the best minds in Real Estate, in an innovative, fast-paced environment and are expected to approach tasks and projects with dedication and initiative.

Our internship program connects students with industry leaders and provides foundational real estate knowledge through a speaker series and networking events. We focus on accelerating growth with hands-on professional development and training. Recognizing that real estate thrives on relationships, we create an engaging experience with volunteering, portfolio tours, and intern led activities, all designed to build collaboration and a connected cohort.


Responsibilities

The Operations Summer Analyst will support the Operations and Property Management teams by assisting with data analysis, reporting, and operational initiatives across the commercial office portfolio. This role provides exposure to property operations, budgeting, contracts, and performance reporting, while developing foundational analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and analyzing performance data related to property operations, expenses, and reporting.
  • Support the collection, organization, and maintenance of data within property management and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with property managers and their support staff on ad hoc projects.
  • Assist with the preparation of operating budgets, capital plans, and reforecasts.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for the portfolio management team.
  • Maintain and update recurring and ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Conduct research to assist the organization on industry best practices, operational efficiencies, and market trends.
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

Related Ross’ Summer Analyst Program aims to train and evaluate the next generation of leaders. To be considered for the 2026 Related Ross Summer Analyst program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Current undergraduate sophomore or junior with a target graduation date between December 2026-Spring 2028.
  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in hospitality, operations, marketing or other related fields.
  • Strong data management skills with significant attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills, particularly in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Maintain a high sense of professionalism to uphold the standards of Related Ross.
  • Exhibit composure during high pressure or challenging situations.
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA.
