Job Description
Cape Fox Facilities Services is seeking a Cleared American Guard. The Cleared American Guard will provide construction security guard services for DIA facilities under construction aboard Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Perform access control functions at all vehicle and pedestrian entrances to the Secure Construction Site (SCS) and/or Secure Storage Area (SSA) during hours of operations.
These activities include, but are not limited to:
Screening all workers, vehicles, and equipment entering or exiting the SCS and/or SSA in accordance with the Construction Site Plan (CSP).
Denying introduction of prohibited materials such as explosives, weapons, electronic devices, or other items as specified by the Site Security Manager (SSM), Security Project Manager (SPM), and/or Construction Security Plan (CSP).
Conducting random inspections of all site areas to ensure no prohibited materials have been brought on to the site.
Reporting or notifying all suspicious materials or incidents to the SSM.
Monitoring the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV).
Perform other security related duties as required by the SSM such as roving patrols and escorting personnel and/or vehicles.
Operation may involve 24/7 /365 operations to safeguard the SCS.
Carry out opening and closing procedures of the SCS each day as directed by the SSM.
All contractor personnel shall maintain a professional appearance, are required to wear a company uniform. Company uniforms shall be distinct with company logo. AII contractor personnel shall have Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) associated with construction projects, complete safety training/briefing as required by on-site GC who is responsible for enforcing safety regulations for the project. PPE, to include, but not limited to properly worn hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, footwear, and outerwear as appropriate for anticipated weather condition.

Active, Secret (S) security clearance.
Must hold a valid certificate for the successful completion of a twenty-four (24) Hours or greater CAG training course. With SSM approval, individual CAG's may be deployed to the project without the CAG Certificate if they are to be trained and certified on this project with the training course required. CAG's shall not perform in a 'stand-alone' post (i.e. they will be the 2nd CAG of a 2 CAG post) until certified through the CAG training course.
Must be able to perform the following physical activity for expensive periods of time.
Physical activity includes stand, sit, bend, walk, kneel, and other related physical activities.
Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply Intelligence Community {IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) guidelines and procedures.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
Sit, stand, walk, crouch, and kneel throughout a regular workday.
Able to work on computer for long periods.
CAG's shall be required to work up to a 60-hour work week that may be broken down to 40 hr. shift work. Duty hours may include weekends, holidays and/or 24/7 /365 to accommodate the Government's needs on first, second and third shifts.
Hours and shifts are subject to change due to the need to meet mission requirements but will generally range from 0500-1700 (Summer/Spring= 0500-1630, Winter/Fall= 0630-1700).
Occasionally, compressed work schedules will be required. If invoked, compressed work schedules will be communicated from the COR or designee. Performance may follow a Monday through Friday work pattern with start/end times ranging anywhere within a 24-hour period (ex. 0500-1630).
The Government reserves the right to adjust the work schedules as mission dictates by providing a 24-hour advanced notice excluding emergencies.
