The Role:
We're seeking current Ph.D. students in Computer Science and related fields for Summer '25 internships (out of season internships possible!). We are particularly interested in candidates with research experience in programming languages, compilers, static and dynamic analysis, and automated code refactoring. Your expertise will help shape the future of our product, impacting developers worldwide.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain production-quality developer tooling, including tools related to automated code refactoring, program analysis for security and reliability, and compiler optimizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features based on both known PL fundamentals and cutting edge research.
- Contribute to the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
- Innovate and introduce new technologies to enhance our developer platform.
- Gain both early stage startup experience and learn from a team with years of experience in industry development of program analysis tools.
What We're Looking For:
- Currently a Ph.D. student in Computer Science or a related field with experience in programming languages or compilers research
- Strongly preferred: research focus in static analysis, automated code refactoring, program synthesis, GenAI/LLMs for code generation, and similar areas.
- A passion for building user-centric products that solve real problems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience coding in Rust is a plus, but proficiency in any of the following target languages is also useful: TS/JS, Go, Java, Kotlin, Ruby, Python, Swift.
