Salary Details:
Compensation is $2,300-$2,600 for the summer, depending on role and experience. In addition to salary, Camp Lenox provides on-campus housing, meals, laundry, and travel support. Because major living expenses are covered while at camp, the total practical value of the summer package is approximately $3,500-$4,000+ depending on travel needs. Compensation is $2,300-$2,600 depending on role and experience, with housing, meals, laundry, and travel support included. While you are at camp, your major living expenses are covered.
Camp Lenox is a premier traditional sleepaway camp in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. Staff members live on campus, coach sports, lead activities, supervise campers, support cabin life, and serve as positive role models for campers ages 7-16.
No prior camp experience is required - we will train the right people.
Open roles may include sports coaching, athletics, camp counselor positions, cabin counselor/coaching roles, waterfront, ropes course, climbing, outdoor adventure, and activity leadership.
We are especially interested in candidates with experience in basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, football, swimming, waterfront, waterski/wakeboard, ropes/climbing, fitness, wrestling, general athletics, and coaching.
This position is ideal for someone who: • Played college, varsity, club, or competitive sports • Enjoys coaching, teaching, mentoring kids, or working with children • Is responsible, athletic, confident, and team-oriented • Wants leadership experience and résumé-building professional development • Is available soon for a full summer experience
This is more than a basic summer job. You will coach, lead, build confidence in kids, make close friends, and spend the summer outdoors in a competitive, active camp environment.
