The Summer Operations Support role is designed for high school and college students interested in gaining hands on experience in a manufacturing environment. The employee will rotate through or support various departments across the facility, partnering with leaders on a variety of tasks and projects. Responsibilities may evolve based on business needs and individual interests.General ResponsibilitiesAdhere to all company safety, quality, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and proceduresWear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the assigned department and taskSupport leaders and teams with a variety of projects and day to day tasks across different departmentsAssist with tracking, data entry, documentation, and basic recordkeepingUse computers and technology to enter information, organize data, or create simple tools and resourcesSupport future planning and improvement efforts, including streamlining processes and helping maintain established standardsCommunicate effectively with team members and leaders using verbal and written communicationManage time effectively and handle multiple tasks or projects as assignedSkills & QualificationsCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from high school or college (18 years or older)Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google tools, or similar)Strong attention to detail and willingness to learnAbility to follow instructions and work in a team environmentReliable, organized, and able to manage time and prioritiesPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for scheduled work hours, including extended hours as required.Ability to lift up to 50 poundsDisclaimerThe preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
