Responsibilities- Lead and supervise daily camp activities and sports programs for children of various ages and skill levels.
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate instructional plans that promote physical fitness and skill development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times, adhering to camp policies and procedures.
- Organize and facilitate group games, team-building exercises, and recreational events.
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and camp staff to provide updates and address any concerns.
- Assist with camp set-up and clean-up, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Promote a positive and inclusive camp culture that fosters respect, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm.
Requirements- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Prior experience working with children in a sports or camp setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sports fundamentals and ability to teach various athletic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead groups, motivate children, and manage challenging behaviors.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid or willingness to obtain before the start of camp.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible summer hours, including some early mornings and late afternoons.
