Job Summary/Responsibilities

Eco Camp Counselors will lead groups of campers 6-13 around the Wildlife Sanctuary, introducing them to local flora and fauna, playing games, swimming, canoeing and going on field trips. This will involve getting wet and dirty in the hot, buggy summer!

Required Qualifications

This position requires a dedicated and creative person to lead in all operations of Eco Camp. Duties include, but are limited to: working with campers 6-13, designing and creating games and activities, signing children in and out before and after camp, office duties, implementing safety during camp, finding solutions to minor problems and medical issues.

  • Must beCPR& First Aid Certified. For those of you who do not have this certification, if hired, we will provide theCPR& first aid class to you.

  • Must be willing and able to be outside and work in various weather conditions, such as rain or heat.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Creativity and independence in creating and leading games and activities.

  • Knowledge of local flora and fauna.

  • Independent decision-making.

  • Able to work with multiple personalities.
