TITLE: ย Summer Camp Coordinator (Intern)ย 

REPORTS TO: Director of Programming

DIRECT REPORTS: None

JOB CLASSIFICATION: Exempt, Part-Time ย ย Seasonal

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Program Delivery

Serve as a lead or assistant coach at Palm Valley Golf Course (Nocatee) and Royal St. Augustine Golf & Country Club (St. Augustine) for 20-30 hours each week, guiding youth participants ย ย through lessons in a safe, fun, and engaging environment.

Assist in planning, organizing, and delivering daily summer camp activities aligned with First Tee's curriculum.

Support camp operations including equipment setup/breakdown, activity transitions, and maintaining a structured daily schedule.

Communicate effectively with parents, volunteers, and staff regarding schedules, participant progress, and camp updates.

Execute and assist with recognition activities to enhance the participant experience.

Chapter Administration & Operations

Become proficient with all chapter technology platforms.

Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, certifications, and program data in accordance with chapter policies.

Assist Director of Programming with summer camp logistics for all locations including registration support, supply management, and program delivery.

Support marketing, outreach, and communication efforts including flyers, social media content, and community event representation.

Assist with execution of chapter fundraising events as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Qualification Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university, preferably in Education, Recreation, Sport Management, or a related field.

Ability to pass a NCIS background check and maintain compliance with SafeSport requirements.

Valid driver's license with no restrictions.

Experience working with youth in a camp, athletic, or educational setting preferred.

Flexible availability including weekdays, weekends, and evenings as needed.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the Administrative & Operations Coordinator must be able to: have visual and hearing acuity: have mobility, speaking, writing, analytical reasoning skills and manual dexterity, the ability to lift (50) pounds, high energy to perform and complete tasks. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.ย 

Work Environment: May spend time indoors, in a controlled environment, and outdoors in an uncontrolled environment with moderate to high noise levels. The work schedule is non-traditional and does require weekends and holidays. The individual must be able to travel within the chapter service area as required.ย
