This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about tennis and enjoy working with children in a camp setting. The instructor will work closely with teaching professionals to assist students in developing and improving their tennis skills, focusing on court management and safety. The role also involves implementing game plans established by the teaching professionals, ensuring that campers have a safe and enjoyable experience. In addition to on-court responsibilities, the Summer Camp Tennis Instructor will assist with aftercare duties, which include checking in campers for aftercare and confirming that parents or guardians have signed out each camper. The instructor will supervise both on-court and off-court activities for all campers waiting for pick-up, ensuring a smooth transition for parents and children alike. The instructor will also assist tennis instructors in supervising campers during lunch and other off-court activities, contributing to a well-rounded camp experience. Responsibilities

Work with teaching professionals during Penn Tennis Center Summer Camp.

Assist students in developing and improving various tennis skills.

Requirements

Participation in United States Tennis Association (USTA) junior tournaments or high school tennis experience.

Teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Current or former high school tennis players are eligible.
