Description - What Your Role Entails

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical lab tests encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new team members or students, and contribute to the maintenance of lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain an active certification throughout your tenure.
