Job Overview
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for day-to-day store maintenance operations for Subway Restaurants located in the greater Kokomo-Marion-Muncie area. This individual will be responsible for general handyman tasks, ranging from exterior and interior maintenance services. Performance will be evaluated based on professionalism, consistency, and quality of service.
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be provided a company vehicle, and an IPAD for fulfilling specific service requests and documenting Preventative Maintenance schedules. The tech will be responsible for purchasing materials and equipment needed to complete store service.
General Duties
• Starting wage is $15/hr. Minimum 40 hrs/wk. Overtime is paid for hours worked above 40 per week, as required.
• Daily hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
• Exterior Maintenance - Cleaning gutters, painting, caulking, parking lot cleanup, landscaping/grass mowing, power washing, window washing, and general carpentry.
• This position is expected to perform all general Handyman Tasks, including not limited to drywall repair, wall finishes, framing, trim carpentry, furniture repair (chairs, tables), caulking, painting/staining, ceiling tiles, grease trap cleaning
• Plumbing - fix leaks/clogs in toilets, sinks, drains, water heaters.
• Electrical - lighting/bulbs, switches, fans, signage, general electrical wiring and diagnostics.
• HVAC - general upkeep and inspection, replacing furnace filters
• Other duties as assigned
