Overnight Sandwich Artist - Job Description Position Summary
The Overnight Sandwich Artist is responsible for delivering excellent guest service, preparing high-quality sandwiches, and maintaining store cleanliness and food safety standards during overnight hours. This role requires strong accountability, reliability, and the ability to work independently while ensuring the restaurant is fully prepared for the morning shift.
Key Responsibilities Guest Service
  • Provide a welcoming and friendly experience to every guest
  • Accurately prepare sandwiches according to brand formulas and customer requests
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain register accuracy
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally
Food Preparation & Quality
  • Prepare food items following company recipes and portioning standards
  • Ensure all products are fresh, properly labeled, and within expiration guidelines
  • Maintain proper food temperatures and complete required temperature logs
  • Restock food line and prep items for upcoming shifts
Cleaning & Sanitation
  • Complete overnight cleaning tasks to ensure store readiness
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment, including:
    • Sandwich unit
    • Toaster and microwave
    • Drink station and soda nozzles
    • Floors, counters, and prep areas
  • Maintain clean restrooms, lobby, and back-of-house areas
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Operational Duties
  • Perform opening/closing procedures as assigned
  • Complete daily prep and stocking lists
  • Assist with inventory counts and waste tracking when needed
  • Ensure the store is fully stocked and organized for the morning team
