Job description

Job Description One Tech Engineering is searching for a Substation Construction Inspector for a position located in Amarillo, Texas. The Substation Construction Inspector will be responsible for verifying all work performed by the prime construction contractor complies with our construction standards and the engineering prints. Candidates must be a US citizen or hold a green card.

The candidate must have at least 5 years of substation construction experience. Substation Construction Inspector Responsibilities: Responsible for capturing any field changes to the design. Responsible for communicating properly to the responsible parties within the Company on a routine or daily basis.

Responsible for insuring the constructor performs the Work to the Company's specifications and standards. Responsible for insuring the constructor uses the proper materials in the proper place on the Project. Shall take all precautions to protect Company's equipment, materials and customers and be a good representative for Company.

Requirements of the Substation Construction Inspector: 5 + years of substation construction experience. Previous Journeymen or Substation Electrician experience is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
